Strategically positioned on the growing southwest side of Houston, Fort Bend boasts an integrated infrastructure that easily connects to the rest of Greater Houston. Due to the county’s rapid growth, road construction and expansion have remained critical issues to ensure sufficient access to roads. The county also has three Class I railroads, two airports, and access to a foreign trade zone, two international airports, and two deep water ports.
