Redevelopment
Did you know much of Fort Bend County is focused on redevelopment? Sage Dulles, an affiliate of Lovett Industrial, recently purchased the former National Oilwell Varco site in the Sugar Land Business Park. Lovett Industrial will redevelop the site to include 320,000 square feet of industrial space, opening opportunities for expansion and business relocation to the area. Lovett has already leased 163,000 square feet of space.
The Grid
A recently developed lifestyle center in Stafford is the former Texas Instruments site. TI opened its facility in Fort Bend in 1967 and later relocated within the county. However, the original site, which created many advanced technologies, has now been redeveloped into a massive new lifestyle complex with 500,000 square feet of office space planned. Sitting on Interstate 69, The Grid in Stafford is the Gateway to Fort Bend County.
Training the Workforce
The diversity and quality of the Fort Bend workforce drive our corporate community. Our highly educated population is attracted to the inclusive culture in Fort Bend, our exceptional quality of life, and access to outstanding education and training opportunities, which widen and deepen our labor pool.
Upward Trajectory of Growth
The rapid growth in Fort Bend has not slowed down, and additional development is expected. More land is being prepared for large-scale retail, residential, and office development on the west side of the county through the creation of MUDs and pre-development protocols. Rosenberg, Richmond, and Fulshear are witnessing their office markets flourish as Sugar Land, Stafford, and Missouri City continue to experience growth in their office sector.
